Case Management

Some of our clients need a more hands on approach with their situation, so our outreach team walks them through the process of that season. Case Management is a dynamic process that assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates to improve outcomes, experiences, and value.

The practice of case management is professional and collaborative, occurring in a variety of settings where medical care, mental health care, and social supports are delivered. Services are facilitated by diverse disciplines in conjunction with the care recipient and their support system.

In pursuit of health equity, priorities include identifying needs, ensuring appropriate access to resources/services, addressing social determinants of health, and facilitating safe care transitions. Professional case managers help navigate complex systems to achieve mutual goals, advocate for those they serve, and recognize personal dignity, autonomy, and the right to self-determination.

Ruth’s Closet

So many of our clients come to us as they're trying to start over, and our funder completely understands that. Our founder always tells this story of how her maternal grandmother Ruth Cuffee was the first woman she knew that fleed from Domestic Violence and was able to "Turn Devastation Into Determination". Once her grandmother got on her feet she started an in home daycare that mostly served Single Mothers throughout the Tri-Cities. One of NaQuetta's most memorable moments with her grandma was Saturday mornings shopping at Sam's Club... her grandmother brought basic necessities in bulk due to her belief that "You never know  when someone may be in need". Women of endurance's Board of Directors have been working tirelessly to bring NaQuetta's dream project to fruition. We now have our own dedicated  that is being transformed into "Ruth's Closet" and now we need the help of our community partners.

Work Readiness

Work readiness is a hidden, yet important, factor in securing clients or jobs. In a nutshell, work readiness measures your preparedness to qualify for a job opening or project. You’re “work-ready” if you have technical and soft skills—with an emphasis on the latter—to perform tasks and work with others in your role.

So how exactly can you develop these foundational skills to qualify for the work you want to do? We are here to assist with  developing your work readiness skills. You’ll work with a mentor and develop your skills by accomplishing real-world tasks. What’s more, you’ll have access to the tools your mentors have, so you can improve your proficiencies in the industry you are in or desire to be in.
